Many people are not cognizant of the research, assessment and schematics that are immersed into creating a sound game plan for an opponent. Game planning, but more specifically the process of breaking down game film can be meticulous and cerebral. What is the purpose of breaking down game footage of an opponent? The purpose is to seek out regular and irregular tendencies of your opponent, so that one can become familiar with what to expect from your opponent in contest.

 

 The art of game planning, which encompasses many of the old ACRL Information literacy strands and combined with some of the new ACRL frameworks ideologies,  is analogous to the many of skills and competencies librarians exhibit. It is also the epitome of using metaliteracy literacy skills at its optimum.
